3D Model Super Content Pack

High Resolution Scans for use in 3D Design

We have a pair of Artec scanners (the Artec EVA and Artec Spider) which each cost around $20K, and are adept at creating high resolution, full color scans. This super content pack is a collection of objects we have scanned, and will be added to over time as we scan more items. These 3D models are provided to you as full downloads for you to use as you wish.

You can load these models into Meshmixer or mixing and sculpting, and there are some awesome combinations you can come up with. One example that we show in our Meshmixer class is using a particularly jagged section of a rock to create a nasty looking scar on a figurine's face. Remember, size means nothing in the 3D realm, so you can use parts of one model as geometry in other models...and these scans are ideal at giving you high resolution color models to use. Enjoy!
